After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a safety briefing. Begin your trek into the dense forest led by UWA (Uganda Wildlife Authority) rangers. The hike can last 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ movement. Once found, you have one hour to observe, photograph, and marvel at these gentle giants. In the afternoon, you can relax at the lodge or visit the Batwa Pygmies to learn about their ancient forest culture.
Enjoy a final mountain breakfast before embarking on the drive back to the city. You’ll have a chance to stop for local crafts and drums at the Mpambire Royal Drum Makers. Our driver will drop you at Entebbe International Airport or your preferred hotel, marking the end of your adventure.
